Mom’s Biscuits

Preheat oven to 425.

Combine in bowl:

2 c. flour

3 t. baking powder

1/2 t. salt

Cut in:

1/4 c. butter

Add, all at once, stirring until soft ball forms:

3/4 c. milk (buttermilk may be used)

Knead lightly 20-25 times.  Roll or pat dough to 1/2 inch thickness.  Cut with floured biscuit cutter or glass.  Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
